Frankie Belle and Kono Lulu started Dipped in Blue together in 2018 because of their forever love of the beach and Malibu lifestyle. Growing up by the water the girls were constantly inspired by their friends and families to create swimsuits and board shorts that were not only cute but comfortable and cool. Frankie and Kono found a way to incorporate styles of the past with a modern twist. 

Over time the founders Frankie and Kono started to work with another close friend Ama, who now helps with every aspect of the business and collaborates with them on creative meeting as CEO. Together the girls work towards creating and designing new swimsuits, boards shorts, and more to come.

The collection is designed and produced in Los Angeles.
